X-Ray Technician ~ Utica Park Clinic Sand Springs

The UPC Sand Springs location is currently looking for a member to join our team! The X-Ray Technician will report directly to the Office Manager and will be responsible for performing clinical diagnostic radiology films as directed by the provider.




Want to make a difference? The ideal team member will:


  • Demonstrate knowledge of correct positioning of patients for all exams.

  • Demonstrate knowledge of correct technical factors for all exams.

  • Correctly mark all films and or digital image with patient name, x-ray number, date of exam and with a lead marker.

  • Demonstrate ability to complete exams when dealing with difficult patients, i.e. patients in a wheelchair, unable to stand, unable to roll onto side, or straighten and/or bend extremity.

  • Demonstrate compassion by assisting patients when help is needed changing clothes, standing up from wheelchair, getting on and off the x-ray or EKG table.

  • Follow established Radiation Safety protocol per HMC Radiology.

  • Demonstrate knowledge of safety factors in x-ray room, i.e. keeping door shut during exams, raising and lowering table properly, moving x-ray tube, using appropriate shields and using rolling stools.

  • Demonstrate knowledge of all paperwork and/or correct forms to sign.

  • Demonstrate the ability to correctly turn on/off the processor, clean rollers and run films.

  • Demonstrate the ability to correctly set up and perform an EKG and a holter monitor.

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • ARRT Certification
  • BLS Certification



Excellent written/verbal/telephone communication skills are essential, along with basic computer knowledge, and a basic understanding of insurance, referrals and medical records. This position will adhere to all policies, procedures and regulations to ensure patient safety and compliance.
