And when you need emergency care, our 24/7 emergency physician –staffed ER is right where you want it to be – close by- to give you prompt medical treatment. Under the general direction of the Manager, Respiratory Therapy and under direct on site supervision by Cardiologist,  administers graded exercise tests in the clinical setting to assess the patient’s ability to tolerate increasing intensities of exercise while electrocardiograph (ECG), hemodynamic, and symptomatic responses are monitored for manifestations of myocardial ischemia, electrical instability, or other exertion-related abnormalities. Serves as a clinical resource to physicians, hospital staff and the community. Plans, organizes and coordinates various activities and mentors new department staff as requested by the manager.
 
 

Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current RN license in the State of Oklahoma
Three to five years experience in nursing of cardiac/pulmonary patients.
Recent experience in the last 24 months  in cardiac/pulmonary rehab, CCU, or emergency care. 
Current BLS and ACLS certification. 
Proficient in arrhythmia recognition. 
Effective interpersonal relation skills.
Previous teaching experience. 
Previous experience in cardiac/pulmonary rehabilitation. 
Demonstrates the ability to verbalize commands effectively and clearly; writes/designs practical/relevant  educational material.
