Physical Therapist, Varied, PRN
 
At Hillcrest Hospital Claremore, we're proud to offer advanced services right here at home – from our Peggy V. Helmerich Birthing Center, to outpatient surgeries and preventative care. And when you need emergency care, our 24/7 emergency physician –staffed ER is right where you want it to be – close by- to give you prompt medical treatment. This position is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating and documenting all care activities in order to deliver efficient, effective and quality patient care. Assists in the control and continuing development of the Physical Therapy Department in support of the goals and objectives. Provides quality patient care under physician’s referral, which includes patient evaluations, treatment and the establishment of goals and treatment plans designed to return the patient to (their highest functional level. Will treat patients of all age groups.

 

A degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school;

  • Educated in use of modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, paraffin bath, traction, and hot/cold packs.
  • Skill set to include treatment in acute/inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Must have knowledge in manual therapy techniques.
Must be proficient in the use of ultrasound, diathermy whirlpool, EMS, EGS, TRANSCUTANEOUS ELECTRICAL NER STIMULATION, intermittent traction, tilt table, hot and cold packs and paraffin bath.
  • Licensed or eligible for license in the state of Oklahoma by the board of medical examiners. (It is understood that all clinical affiliations and training have been successfully completed prior to Graduation.) and therapists meets requirements to be at entry-level
