Individuals within this job classification are accountable for bariatric care coordination which includes scheduling   inpatient/outpatient testing, surgery, imaging, dietary, exercise, producing an accurate printed daily schedule for distribution to appropriate areas, financial and insurance verification & guidance, insurance submission & coordination, collection of consultations through other specialty services, and overall care coordination of the bariatric patient as they flow through the bariatric program.    This individual must demonstrate the ability to process proper forms, schedule procedures, input and work on the computer programs, and coordinate the scheduling needs with all appropriate departments.   The Navigator will assume the role as the leader for the patient to make the process and flow as seamless as possible getting through the bariatric program.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
High school diploma or equivalent required
Healthcare experience preferred
